South Korea NGO Friends hold charity campaign in Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A non-governmental organization Friends of South Korea organized a charity campaign in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Over 30 high-skilled healthcare specialists conducted a medical examination of population and conducted surgery within a week, UzA reported.
The campaign was organized by the Ministry of Healthcare of Karakalpakstan and Friends. Over 1,000 patients received medical consultations with the campaign.
Children were examined children at general schools No. 2 and No. 24 in Nukus and the Korean doctors recommended children to rinse mouth with fluoride liquid.
Within the campaign, Nukus branch of Republican scientific center for extreme medical aid received four sets of modern medical equipment for conducting surgery.
