According to the MFERIT, the cost of the project makes up US$475 million.
The project on construction of the second line of the Refinery envisages productionof 960,000 tonnes of petroleum, 706,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and 250,000 tonnes of jet kerosene of Euro-3 standard a year.
Within the project, it is planned to build an isomerization unit for the first phase of the plant. The unit’s capacity will be 300,000 tonnes a year.
The project will be financed due to own resources of Uzbekneftegaz and foreign loans.
The project is implemented to optimize and modernize existing capacities of the plant with use of schemes, which will allow to increase production of light oil products up to 95%.
Bukhara Refinery has been commissioned in August 1997. The plant produces over 10 types of products, including three types of petroleum, diesel fuel and jet kerosene. It processes 2.5 million tonnes of gas condensate.
