This helped to increase production of electricity and ensure uninterrupted supply of power to all sectors of economy, UzA reported.

Bahrom Sobirov, an engineer of the station, said that in cooperation with Germany’s Siemens the station reconstructed turbines of the seventh and eight energy units. In the result, their capacity reached 300 megawatt. Gas distribution equipment of the station, three energy units were installed, which work on new innovative technology.

Implementation of the project with the cost of US$7.44 million will allow to receive 15 megawatt of electricity. It is worth to mention that the enterprise does not spend fuel to production of the electricity. The electricity is received with impact of gas pressure.

The report said that the enterprise implements special projects on transfer to alternative and renewable energy. According to the projects, the station will install wind and solar energy equipment.
