During the meeting, the Uzbek side provided information on religious situation in the country and spiritual life of the citizens. It was said that currently 16 religious confessions work in Uzbekistan and there are over 130 nations in the country.
It was said that head of Buddhist Temple participate in all events dedicated to inter-religious tolerance in Uzbekistan.
Lee Moo Wong noted that he feels spiritual warm in Uzbekistan despite he is visiting the country for the first time. He said that clean and beautiful cities, happy people, beautiful buildings indicate prosperous future of the country.
He said that he wants to visit Samarkand and will share his impressions after he returns to South Korea.
