MPs, deputy governors of three regions, Ministry of Justice, the State Tax committee, State Statistics Committee, NGOs, and others participated at the session of the committee.
The session said that the regions are implementing work on realization of these two laws. In last year, number of NGOs, which participate in state programmes on social-economic development, rose twice. Number of NGOs, which won grants of Public Fund of Oliy Majlis, jumped 2.2 times.
Currently 438 NGOs out of 6,567 operating in Uzbekistan registered in Bukhara region, 306 – in Navoi region and 386 – in Namangan region. The session said that number of NGOs on such directions as entrepreneurship, farming, cultural-historic and enlightenment increased in last ten years.
The committee also considered participation of local NGOs in the state programmes and competitions of the Public Fund of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
At the end of the session, the participants adopted a decision of the committee.
