He said that in the result, Uzbekistan has problems in supply of gas to final consumers, especially in winter period, possessing resources and developed gas supply network.
Fayzullaev added that it is necessary to modernize gas distribution network and ensure firm coordination of responsible organizations on gas supply. He said that the consumers should also pay for gas in time.
“We all know that there are consumers, who pay for gas in time, and there are also careless consumers, who did not pay for used gas,” he said.
Speaking on modernization of gas distribution network of the system, Shokir Fayzullaev underlined that Uzbekistan currently implements a programme on modernization and re-equipment of gas distribution network.
Some part of the programme will be implemented by the end of 2013 and it will improve gas supply of population, he added. He noted that main part of existing problems will be eliminated this year.
