London-2012: Ramziddin Saidov loses bronze medal bout

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Judoka from Uzbekistan Ramziddin Saidov could not win bronze medal in weight category of 100 kg after losing to Germany’s Dimitri Peters.

Ramziddin Saidov beat Kyle Vashkulat of the United States and Oreydi Despaigne of Columbia.

In the third round, Saidov lost to Beijing Olympics champion Tuvshinbayar Naidan of Mongolia.

In his fourth bout, he defeated Elmar Gasimov of Azerbaijan to receive right to participate in the bronze medal match.

Ramziddin Saidov took a lead in the bout against Dimitri Peters, but at the end he could not keep his advantage and lost to German judoka.
