Volume of paid services grow by 14% in 1H 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of paid services rendered to population of Uzbekistan in January-June 2011 made up 4.514 trillion soums or grew by 14% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee said.
The main part of paid services was rendered to population by the official sector, the volume of services rendered by this sector was 3.094 trillion soums (68.5% of total volume) or increased by 14.2%.
The volume of paid services rendered to population by individual entrepreneurs grew by 13.5% and amounted to 1.42 trillion soums. The share of this sector in the total volume of paid services was 31.5%.
The share of the non-state sector in the total volume of paid services rendered to population was 79.9%.
The share of personal services in the total volume of paid services was 8.1% or 366.4 billion soums. Their real volume increased by 17.3%.
The share of services rendered by individual entrepreneurs in the personal services sector reached 88.5%. The volume of services rendered by this sector has increased by 17.5% to 324.4 billion soums.
