Some 56 objects privatized in Uzbekistan in 1H 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the process of decentralization and privatization, according to the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan, 56 enterprises and objects (including program and non-program objects) were privatized in the first six months of 2011.

The greatest number of objects was privatized in Tashkent city (24 objects), Tashkent region (7 objects), Namangan region (5 objects), Navoi region and Syrdarya region (4 objects per each).

In the structure of privatized state property, the highest share falls upon objects of local authorities – 44 objects.

Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization amounted to 22 billion soums in January-June 2011.

The most part of receipts received from decentralization and privatization was marked in the city of Tashkent (44.8% of total receipts), Ferghana region (21.8%), Namangan region (14.9%), Tashkent region (9.1%), and Kashkadarya region (2.1%).
