Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The leadership of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airports, Bukhara International Airport, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Indonesia and representatives of travel companies of our country met with the President and CEO of the Indonesian airline Garuda Group Irfan Setiaputra.

Issues and prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of civil aviation were discussed at the meeting. Representatives of foreign airlines were provided with detailed information on the ongoing reforms in the field of civil aviation in our country.

During the meeting, travel companies of Uzbekistan proposed to organize regular flights on the route Jakarta - Bukhara - Jakarta.

In order to assess the cost-effectiveness of this proposal, the Garuda Group management announced that it would first consider the possibility of organizing charter flights to study the market and current demand.
