Slawomir Strzalkowski (on right on photo) said that Poland affirmed readiness to issue the soft loan at the size of US$50 million at the sixth session of Polish-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
He added that representative of Ministry of Finance of Poland gave clarification on this issue and it was welcomed by the Uzbek side.
The sides are working in this direction, Strzalkowski said. He noted that this is very beneficial credit and it should help to increase trade turnover between two nations.
He stated that the agreement on loan is almost ready, but the sides should agree so-called list of the objects. He said the sides will complete this work within six months.
The bilateral trade turnover between two nations rose by 35.9% year-on-year in 2012. Its volume reached US$127.6 million in January-September 2013.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland Marian Przezdziecki (on left on photo) underlined that Poland is assisting to economic development of Uzbekistan.
The envoy underlined that Poland exports equipment, cattle and planting stocks to Uzbekistan, which are used in production process in the country.
