Poetry slam of Australian writers takes place in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fund Forum headquarters in Tashkent hosted a poetry slam on 18 February 2013. The poetry slam is a competition at which poets read or recite original work.

The event was participated by Austrian writers Mieze Medusa und Markus Köhle, as well as students of German philology faculty of Tashkent State Pedagogic University named after Nizami and Language Center Kelajak Lingvo.

The poetry slam was organized by Fund Forum, its office in Austria and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria.

Mieze Medusa und Markus Köhle are founders of modern trend of poetry slam. They hold the poetry slam each month in Austria.

The topic of the poetry slam included philosophy thoughts and daily problems. The participants listed poems with great interest and some participants expressed interest in writing poetry slams.
