Play “Les Miserables in the works of Victor Hugo” to be shown in Samarkand and Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of France in Uzbekistan and French Institute in cooperation with Fund Forum will present a play “Les Miserables in the works of Victor Hugo” in Samarkand and Tashkent.

French actress and playwright Pierrette Dupoyet is invited to Uzbekistan to participate in play, the organizers said. The play will be demonstrated within a week of Francophonie.

The play was created based on main works of Victor Hugo. During the play, Pierrette Dupoyet will embody many characters.

The plays will be shown in French with Russian subtitles. The play will be displayed in Samarkand on 1 April and Tashkent on 3 April 2013.
