Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Mahan Air aircraft operating flight IRM079 on the Tehran-Beijing route made an emergency landing in Tashkent. The aircraft landed on 28 May at 23:20 local time at the Tashkent airport.

The reason for the landing was a passenger who had a heart attack. The crew decided to proceed to the alternate airfield due to the deterioration of the passenger’s health.

After landing at the airport, the passenger was picked up by an ambulance and hospitalized to a medical facility for qualified medical care.
