The Ukrainian firm produced two gascompressor units with electric drive with the capacity of 8 megawatt and other necessary equipment in line with the agreement, signed in 2011 between PJSC “Sumy Frunze NPO” and Uzbekenergo state joint stock company.

The products are shipped via railway and air transport. Currently, Ukrainian specialists are conducting assembly and commissioning works.

The main goal of the booster station is to supply gas to combined-cycle plant with the capacity of 478 megawatt, which is constructed within the project on expansion of capacity of Navoi thermal power station.
