The photo exhibition was organized by Shanghai People`s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Council of Unions of Friendship and Cultural-Spiritual Relations with foreign countries of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan-China Friendship Union at the support of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan and People’s Government of Shanghai.

Representatives of diplomatic missions, accredited in China, public-political and think-tank circles and mass media participated at the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition.

The exhibition presented photo works of the best Uzbek photographers and works of handicrafts. The visitors were able to familiarize with unique and rich culture of the Uzbek people, photos of architecture monuments and historic cities of Uzbekistan, Jahon reported.

Within the exhibition, the agreement on cooperation was signed between Shanghai People`s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Council of Unions of Friendship and Cultural-Spiritual Relations with foreign countries of Uzbekistan, which envisages to deepen cooperation between two countries.
