The Embassy of Republic Korea in Uzbekistan organized the exhibition.

The exhibition was organized to to familiarize citizens of Uzbekistan with beautiful Korean nature and famous tourism sights of South Korea, as well as expand exchange between two nations in culture and tourism.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Uzbekistan Lee Wook-heon said that the exhibition presents about 50 images, which were selected by National Tourism Organization of South Korea.

He said that the images show tourism sights, natural and cultural heritage of South Korea.

Envoy said that South Korea has many attractive places for tourism, unique culture and fine meals. He said that through this photo exhibition through images about tourism places and Korean culture will help bring people of Uzbekistan closer to South Korea and stimulate their visit to the country.

He said that the exhibition will serve for cultural exchange between two nations and bring people of two countries closer to each other. He said that the Embassy of Republic of Korea is planning to organize various events in future.

Lee Wook-heon expressed hope that relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea in sphere of tourism will be boosted and the ties will strengthen.

The photo exhibition will last till 19 November 2013. The entry is free.
