Perspectives of medical tourism discussed in Jizzakh
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international round table dedicated to issues of developing sanatorium-and-spa and medical tourism was held in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan.

Specialists of medical, rehabilitation centers, organization on developing medical tourism of Uzbekistan, South Korea and Germany participated at the event, UzA reported.

It was organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. The participants discussed perspectives of developing medical tourism in Uzbekistan, expanding sanatorium-and-spa tourism in mountainous and suburbs districts of Jizzakh region, expanding tourism potential of Zaamin district.

Over 700 plants and 150 rare wild animals could be found in Zaamin district has unique ecologic system. Zaamin national park and Zaamin reserve. Uzbekistan carries out work on protection of environment, biodiversity and development of tourism.

Unique nature, landscape, flora and fauna of Zaamin resort attracted interests of both local and foreign tourism. The specialists underlined that Zaamin resort help people to treat various diseases.

Deputy director of Samsung-Medison (South Korea) Kim Soon-hak said that nature of Uzbekistan is rich and unique. He said that there are great opportunities in developing medical tourism and the government should support it.
