Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Resolution of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 3 August 2023, Ulugbek Lapasov was appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Lapasov worked as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
