The bank’s statement said that the shareholders adopted decision on placement of 40,000 ordinary shares with par value of 500,000 soums each. Total sum of emission makes up 20 billion soums.

The bank said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will buy 20,400 shares for 10.2 billion soums (51% of total issue) and Central Bank of Uzbekistan – 19,600 shares for 9.9 billion soums (49%).

The shares will be placed till the end of 2012, the statement of the People’s Bank said.
