Currently, People’s Bank is one of the largest banks of Uzbekistan. According to RIA Rating, it is one of 200 largest banks of the CIS on the size of assets (166 place among 200 banks). The assets of the bank rose by 16% in 2013.

People’s Bank provides services for wide layers of population and local businesses, organizations. It is backbone financial institution of Uzbekistan and member of World Savings Banks Institute. The banks helps to develop small and private businesses and contributes to growth of Uzbekistan’s economy.

Ulugbek Ilyasov, head of money transfers department of People’s Bank, said that development of retail business is one of key directions of the long-term strategy of the bank. He added that the bank is planning to make money transfer service for affordable in cooperation with Zolotaya Korona.

The remittance will be carried out in US dollars. The remittances can be sent to Abhazia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Greece, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
