Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Murad Rajabov has died after a long illness. This was reported in the press service of the Film Agency.

Uzbek cinematography has suffered heavy losses. People’s Artist of Uzbekistan, our beloved actor Murad Rajabov died at the age of 74 after a long illness, the statement says.

Murad Rajabov was born on 30 May 1949 in Tashkent. He graduated from the acting department of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute (1971).

Murad Rajabov starred in several dozen films. Among the famous "Wonder Woman", "Gemini", "Code of Silence", "Password - Hotel Regina", "Super Daughter-in-law", "Groom for rent" and others.
