Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan increases payment rates for registration and re-registration of motor vehicles and their trailers (semi-trailers) from 1 April.

On 31 March, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Pulat Bobojonov, signed an order that increases the rate of payments for registration and re-registration of motor vehicles and their trailers (semi-trailers).

Until 1 April, the payment rate for registration and re-registration of all cars and trailers was 10% of the base estimated value (currently 34,000 soums).

From 1 April 2024, the fee for registration and re-registration of electric vehicles, motor vehicles and trailers reached 1.5 sizes of base estimated value (currently 510,000 soums).

For all other cars, the rate increased to 6.84 sizes of base estimated value, which now amounts to 2.32 million soums.

From 1 November 2023, Uzbekistan also increased the rate for issuing license plates for cars - up to 3.5 sizes of base estimated value (1.15 million soums). The fee for issuing license plates for motor vehicles and replacing license plates has also increased.
