Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-February 2024, payment for travel on public transport with virtual ATTO cards increased 6 times. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

At the moment, 126.3 thousand virtual cards have been created through the mobile application and 773.4 thousand transactions have been made with their help.

In January-February 2023, 12.2 thousand new virtual cards were opened, and for the corresponding period in 2024 this figure was 20.4 thousand (+59%).
 
In January-February 2023, 35.3 thousand payments were made using virtual cards, and by the same period in 2024 this figure reached 211.9 thousand (+500%)

Also, in January-February, passengers saved 35.1 million soums due to transfer fares through virtual cards. (29.2 million soums on the bus, 5.9 million soums on the metro).
