Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 September at 04:10, a plane with athletes from Uzbekistan on board landed at Tashkent International Airport, who successfully performed at the World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sports among men and women in Istanbul (Turkey ). The XVIII World Championships among men and IX among women, held from August 31 to September 6, were attended by professionals from more than 20 countries.

The men’s team of Uzbekistan became the world champion, taking one gold and three bronze medals in the team event. The women’s team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan won an honorable third place.

The athletes were solemnly greeted at the international airlines terminal by relatives, friends, journalists, and representatives of ministries and departments.
