Parking at Tashkent airport moves to the second stage of automation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Launched at the end of November last year, P1 smart parking in front of the departure terminal of Tashkent International Airport is refusing from paper coupons in test mode.

Entry and exit to the parking lot will be carried out only through recognition of state license plates of vehicles. If the number plate is not recognized (very dirty or missing), the system may refuse to enter the parking lot. When leaving the parking lot, the system again recognizes the license plate of the car and compares it with the number determined at the entrance. In case of matching numbers and payment for parking, the system releases the car from the parking lot. Previously, drivers of cars with unrecognized numbers were issued a paper ticket.

Payment is made, as before, through parking meters. Only if earlier it was possible to use a paper ticket, now you just need to enter your number on the parking meter and pay in any convenient way.

It is worth noting that the solution from the manufacturer AMANO uses ANPR cameras. The devices have a built-in license plate recognition (ANPR) engine based on Deep Learning algorithms. This allows license plates to be recognized by means of the camera itself, saving server computing resources.
