He`s travelling the world with his guitar, all year long, invited by the most prestigious festivals and concert halls. Between New York and Hong Kong, San Paolo and Istanbul, London and Melbourne or Singapore and Tel-Aviv, he shares his music with the world. This young prodigy has already played hundreds of concerts on every continent, unanimously recognized by critics. The concert has been organized by the Fund Forum and Victor Hugo French Cultural Center in Tashkent.

Thibault Cauvin was born on July 16, 1984 in Bordeaux to a family of musicians. He took up the guitar at the age of six and was one of the best graduates of Bordeaux and Paris conservatories. At 20, he was the world’s only guitar virtuoso with 13 first prizes from international competitions in Spain, USA, Portugal, Austria, Italy, Great Britain and other countries. As of today, he has played around 600 concerts worldwide.

He has also participated in many TV and radio programs and collaborated with famous musicians, composers and symphony orchestras. Despite his young age, Thibault is regularly invited by the most prestigious conservatories, universities and festivals throughout the world to give master classes, lectures or to judge competitions.

By making the most of the quality and beauty of the instrument, Thibault presented a rich, intense and modern repertory. His Tashkent concert included Scarlatti, Buxtehude, Piazzola and Jobim.
