Pakistani envoy designate to Uzbekistan meets PM

The Prime Minister urged the Ambassador designate to Uzbekistan to focus on reinvigorating the Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations by promoting high level exchanges between the two countries.

He stressed the importance of trade and economic linkages for cementing the bilateral ties and expressed the hope that the Ambassador designate during his tenure will try to substantially increase the volume of trade between the two countries, the report said.

The Prime Minister said that both countries were victims of terror and hence it should be the endeavor of the Ambassador to strengthen bilateral cooperation between them to eliminate this menace.
