Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives from Pakistan’s Ministry of National Food Security and Research and Department of Plant Protection will visit Uzbekistan from 24 to 29 November, as reported by the Dunyo news agency.
The visit is organized at the initiative of Uzbekistan’s Agency for Plant Quarantine and Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture, with support from the Uzbek Embassy in Islamabad.
The delegation, led by Pakistan’s Deputy Minister of National Food Security and Research, Nilofar Hafiz, will focus on expanding trade volumes of agricultural products and finalizing phytosanitary permits.
Additionally, the delegation will tour several regions of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Samarkand, and Fergana, to observe local conditions for fruit and vegetable cultivation and assess product quality.
