Pakistan Prime Minister meets SCO Secretary-General
On 18 April 2007 during his visit to the People’s Republic of China the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz held talks with the SCO Secretary-General Bolat Nurgaliev at the government residence Diaoyutai.
In the course of the meeting the parties exchanged opinions on a wide range of issues concerning the prospective areas of cooperation between the SCO and Pakistan.
The Secretary-General briefed the Prime Minister on the activities of the SCO in the fields of ensuring security, struggle against terrorism and illegal circulation of narcotics. He also spoke about potential plans for development, economic ties and people-to-people exchange.
