Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Paintings from the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan are not for sale. This statement was made by the Agency for Cultural Heritage following reports on social media suggesting that legendary artworks from the museum’s collection were being sold.

These reports linked the alleged sales to the museum’s temporary closure for renovations.

The Agency has refuted these rumors, emphasizing that the paintings listed for sale are not part of the museum’s collection.

The agency also clarified that there is no connection between the museum’s closure for renovations and the sale of artworks.

Furthermore, the agency reported that all museum exhibits have been fully digitized, eliminating the possibility of the loss or sale of original works from its collection.
