Ozoda Nursaiedova apologizes to model Sabrina Jabbarova
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Singer Ozoda Nursaiedova has apologized to model Sabrina Jabbarova, who sustained serious injuries and became disabled following a car accident during the filming of her music video.
A video of a meeting between Nursaiedova, Munisa Rizaeva, and other activists with the injured model was posted on the Telemagnit YouTube channel.
Jabbarova expressed her gratitude to everyone who has provided her with financial and moral support.
"People from all around the world have been sending money to my bank cards for three days, worrying and hoping that I will be able to walk again. I am thankful to everyone who prays for me. I want to give special thanks to Jasmine from Turkey, who was the first to raise the issue of needing an operation. May Allah bless everyone who helps me return to a normal life so I can walk, start a family, and have a child," Sabrina said.
The operation is planned to take place in Turkey.
"Jasmine, Nihola, and Munisa haven't slept for two days, searching for doctors not only in Turkey but around the world. In the end, they found specialists in Turkey. Tomorrow (March 14), my mother and I will fly there, where Jasmine will meet us and take us to the hospital. After the examination, the doctors will announce the final cost of the operation. All of this became possible thanks to the help of people," she added.
Ozoda Nursaiedova admitted that she was unaware of the severity of Sabrina's condition and apologized.
"Until today, I didn’t know much... I only found out from social media videos that after the surgery, one of Sabrina's legs became 7 centimeters shorter than the other. I thought she was undergoing rehabilitation and was at ease. I know this doesn’t justify me. Now, seeing Sabrina and her mother, I apologize for not being fully aware of her condition. I now know she will undergo a complex operation in several stages. I thank Munisa, Jasmine, Mohina, and Nihola for their active help. Thank you to everyone who hasn’t stayed indifferent. Now, it's important not to search for the guilty, but to do everything possible for Sabrina to recover," the singer said.
Munisa Rizaeva emphasized that many doctors had refused to take on the surgery.
"In Turkey, many specialists refused, but one professor agreed to accept Sabrina. After that, we shared her bank account number, and people responded. Plane tickets have already been purchased, accommodation in Istanbul has been rented, and consultations with doctors have been held. If anyone else wants to help Sabrina, we will be very grateful," Rizaeva said.
