Over 300 women were examined by a breast care professional as part of the marathon. Moreover, the participants purchased pink ribbon items, thereby supporting the idea and charitable cause of helping women with cancer. The runners were joined by Uzbek pop stars. The winners were saluted with presents and prizes.

“Sometimes I forget to take care of my health. And today thanks to this marathon I was able to go through a medical checkup by a breast care doctor. Women who dedicate themselves to care of their children and family sometimes fail to take proper care of themselves. A big thank you to the Women`s Council for taking care of our health. I would like this sort of marathons to be organized at least two or three times a year. I wish the organizers of this project good luck!”
