Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Investigation Committee, Ilnaz Galyaviev imitated "the actions of informal representatives of one of the destructive subcultures" and copied them during the attack.

The investigation brought the final charge against Ilnaz Galyaviev in the case of the shooting in the Kazan gymnasium, according to the website of the Investigative Committee.

The Investigative Committee established that on 11 May, Galyaviev, armed with a multiple-shot hunting rifle, as well as a personally made explosive device, attacked the gymnasium. Nine people died, including seven children. More than 600 people were recognized as victims.

According to investigators, Galyaviev imitated "the actions of informal representatives of one of the destructive subcultures", which he learned about from the Internet, and copied them during the attack.

“Galyaviev was recognized as sane and subject to criminal liability. Galyaviev admitted guilt in full, repented of what he had done,” the Investigative Committee emphasized.
