Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- More than 3.44 billion cubic meters of natural gas were loaded into gas storage facilities in Uzbekistan. This was announced by the head of the Uztransgaz information service, Shakhnoza Ravshanova.
Earlier, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, ordered to increase gas reserves to at least 3.5 billion cubic meters in preparation for the autumn-winter season.
As of 6 November, more than 3.445 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been stored at gas facilities in Uzbekistan, she noted.
According to her, as part of the project to increase the volume of active gas storage, 5 wells were drilled in the Khojaabad underground gas storage facility.
