Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Contracts for the purchase of Chevrolet Onix began to be concluded today and more than 28,000 contracts were signed during the day. This was reported by the press service of UzAuto Motors.

“The first day of sales of Chevrolet Onix cars ended with a record number of contracted cars. To date, about 30,000 cars have been contracted, more than 28,000 of which are new Chevrolet Onix cars,” UzAuto Motors notes. Most (61%) of the contracted Chevrolet Onix turned out to be top-end.

“This figure is an absolute record for UzAuto Motors and exceeds the average number of contracts on ordinary days by almost 30 times, which indicates the obvious success of the Chevrolet Onix. Moreover, the record figure clearly shows us a tangible increase in the well-being of the population and economic recovery,” the company said in the statement.

The high proportion of buyers who purchased more than one car, which amounted to about 45%, is also indicative.
