Over 13,000 domains registered in UZ zone

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of active domain zones in national domain zone UZ reached 13,000 on 2 November 2011, Administrator of domain zone UZ said.

The administrator of the zone recalled that the first 10,000 domains in UZ domain zone were registered on 25 February 2010.

According to the statistics, the growth of registered domains made up 1,926 or 17,3% in the past period of 2011.

The administrator said that currently over 4,570 new domains are registered at the national domain zone UZ.
