Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 15.00, 11,705,357 voters or 60.74% voted. The elections were declared valid, said Bakhrom Tulkinovich Kuchkarov, deputy chairman of the CEC.
According to the Electoral Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, elections are recognized as valid if more than 33% of the voters included in the list of voters took part in them.
This was reported at a briefing at the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan.
