Over 106,000 passenger cars sold in Uzbekistan in the first four months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to April 2025, more than 106,800 passenger cars were sold in Uzbekistan, according to figures released by Uzavtosanoat.
The highest number of sales was recorded by UzAuto Motors, which sold 59,427 vehicles over the four-month period—accounting for 55.6% of total sales. Khorezm Auto, a subsidiary of UzAuto Motors, came in second with 28,789 vehicles sold, representing 26.9% of the market.
ADM Jizzakh reported sales of 12,120 vehicles (11.3%), followed by BYD Uzbekistan Factory with 5,953 units (5.6%), Asaka Motors with 397 (0.4%), SamAuto with 124 (0.1%), and Jizzakh Auto, which sold 31 vehicles (0.03%).
In terms of brands, Chevrolet firmly held the top position with 88,216 vehicles sold. It was followed by KIA with 7,360 units, BYD with 5,953, Chery with 2,633, Haval with 2,127, Hyundai with 274, Isuzu D-Max with 124, and Wuling with 77 vehicles.
The Chevrolet Cobalt emerged as the absolute best-selling model, with 42,504 units sold since the beginning of the year. It was followed by the Chevrolet Damas with 19,151 units, and the Chevrolet Tracker with 10,366.
The top ten most popular models also included the Chevrolet Labo (9,638), Chevrolet Onix (5,671), KIA Sonet (5,231), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (1,988), BYD Chazor (1,293), BYD Song Plus DMI (1,129), and the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro (987).
