The internet users base grew by 2.8% compared to the beginning of 2013. Some 9.815 million people used Internet in Uzbekistan in the beginning of 2013.

According to the committee, as of 1 April 2013, number of business entities, which render data transfer and internet services, reached 928 units.

Number of collective Internet use points reached 1,045 units, according to the State Committee on Communication, Information and Telecommunication Technologies of Uzbekistan.

Total access speed to international data transfer channels makes up 7780 Mbps.

There are also 250 business entities, which produce software, in Uzbekistan. Number of annually registered software made up 208 as 1 April 2013.
