The sides discussed perspectives of further improving interaction of law enforcement bodies of various countries in fighting terrorism and trans-boundary crime, settlement of international conflicts.

Kevin Carty briefed the Uzbek officials on activity of the department on policy activity of the OSCE, which supports police bodies in the OSCE territory to support law enforcement and helps to train highly skilled specialists.

During the meeting, the OSCE delegation and the Uzbek officials considered issues of realizing joint projects in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side, in its turn, shared information about international cooperation of Interior Ministry, in particular with the OSCE. They shared their views on implementation of the projects, implemented with the OSCE.

During the meeting the sides exchanged opinions on perspectives of further expansion of cooperation between the OSCE and Interior Ministry of Uzbekistan.

OSCE officials expressed their satisfaction with the results of the constructive cooperation with the interior ministry of Uzbekistan and added that they want to strengthen mutual beneficial contacts.
