The project is implemented within the programme on priorities of industrial development for 2011-2015.

In line with the programme, the capacities on production of optic-fiber cable will be launched at the Navoi FIEZ in 2011.

The enterprise will annually produce up to 10,000 km of optic-fiber cable. The cost of the project is US$5 million. Uzbekneftegaz national holding company and Oman Fiber Optics will invest US$2.5 million each to the project.
