Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Boxing Championship among men and women has ended in the capital’s sports complex "Universal". 

According to the regulations, the final fights among men took place today. All meetings were held in a tense and uncompromising struggle. It is worth noting that the defeat of the participants in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Dilshod Ruzmetov and Bobousmon Baturov testified that new stars are stepping on the heels of the eminent masters of the leather glove of the Uzbek boxing school.

Also, according to tradition, at the end of the competition, the best boxer of the championship was awarded the Rufat Riskiev Cup. This year Ruslan Abdullaev among men and Nigina Uktamova among women won this coveted prize. Nurkhon Asadullaeva was also recognized as the best referee of the tournament.

This year, together with domestic experts, the championship of Uzbekistan was judged by eight 3-star AIBA specialists, representing different continents.
