Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Omani companies are expressing interest in joint projects aimed at developing Uzbekistan’s logistics infrastructure.

During negotiations with Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov, attended by leaders of major Omani companies, including Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority Sheikh Nasser Al Harasi, CEO of ASYAD Group Abdulrahman Al Hatmi, and General Director of UzOman Investment Company Oman Bakhram, the prospects for cooperation were discussed.

One of the key topics was the development of partnerships within the framework of the Ashgabat Agreement, as well as attracting Omani investments into Uzbekistan’s transport and logistics sector. Special attention was given to the construction of logistics terminals and centers.

The Omani side highlighted Uzbekistan’s significant potential in transport logistics and expressed readiness to participate in the implementation of joint infrastructure projects.
