The production of the telephones will be opened soon. The venture will produce two model of phones. China’s Asiatelco will supply components to the venture.

The enterprise plans to produce the first party of mobile phones in July 2014. It is planned to produce over 5,000 units of phones of each model.

Olive Telecom JV specializes in manufacturing of telecommunication equipment, including mobile and fixed terminals, and tablet PCs.

The founders of Olive Telecom JV are Uzbektelecom Joint Stock Company and Olive Telecommunication Pvt. Ltd. (India). Production is organized in Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

Currently, the joint venture produces mobile and fixed phones for CDMA-networks, tablet computers and USB-modems.
