Having successfully performed in the qualification, the Uzbek athlete reached the final and eventually won the silver medal.

In the vault with the result of 14,200, Oksana Chusovitina took the second place. In the first place is the representative of South Korea Seo Jeong Yeo (14.266 points). Linmin Yu (14.083 points) from China won the bronze medal.
