Official Welcome Ceremony Held for Tokayev at Tashkent-Humo Airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A ceremonial welcome was held at Tashkent-Humo International Airport for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were raised, and an honor guard was presented. A military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries.

Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the honor guard and greeted the members of the official delegations.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for 15 November.
