Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Malaysia has come to an end.
Today, productive negotiations took place in Kuala Lumpur between the President of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim.
Following the summit, a Joint Statement was signed, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation and achieving strategic partnership for future generations. Additionally, an extensive package of agreements was adopted across various areas of collaboration.
During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan and the Malaysian Prime Minister participated in a business forum and held a meeting with the President of Petronas.
As part of the cultural program, the President visited the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur.
Upon the conclusion of the official events, President Mirziyoyev was seen off at Kuala Lumpur International Airport by Malaysia’s Minister of Education, Zambry Abdul Kadir, and other high-ranking officials.
The President of Uzbekistan has departed for Tashkent.
