Uzbekistan led by Dilshod Nuraliev played draw in the first two matches against Kazakhstan (1-1) and Iran (0-0), but lost their last match in group stage with the score 1-3.
Azerbaijan qualified to final of the tournament and defeated Ukraine on penalty shootouts in the final match of the tournament.
Uzbekistan claimed the last place in group due to worse goal differences and played a match against Armenia for the seventh and eighth places. Armenia netted two goals to win the seventh place in the tournament.
Dilshod Nuraliev was upbeat despite last place in the tournament. He said that the tournament helped his players to gain international experience. He said that he liked display of his players and criticized officials, who did not allow players to show their abilities.
Now, Uzbekistan U-15 will gather in Tashkent on 20-30 May 2011. Within the training camp, Nuraliev side will play three friendly matches against Japan youth.
