Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Nuraliev invited 21 players to the tournament and they will fly to the UAE on 14 October 2013.

Uzbekistan is in Group C along with Panama, Morocco and Croatia. Uzbekistan will kick off their campaign with the match against Panama on 18 October. Two days later, they will face Panama.

The group stage will be completed with the match against Croatia.
